Our Team
Allegra Gibson
Allegra Gibson originally trained in fine arts has a Master of Fine Arts and is a working artist. After multiple yoga injuries due to her hyper-flexibility and general poor posture, a doctor recommended she try Pilates based physical therapy. The goal was to strengthen her core, help improve her posture, and stabilize her hyper-mobility. This Pilates based therapy was just what she needed to ease her injuries, and she found the Pilates method to be so beneficial for injury recovery that she enrolled in Zeina Grifoni’s back-safe Pilates teacher training program in 2018 and became a certified Pilates instructor in 2019 with further study in physical therapy rehabilitation.
When she’s not teaching Pilates, Allegra enjoys making artwork, hiking, hanging out with friends, traveling to foreign lands, and trying new things.
Allegra is suited to work with any individual client’s needs but has a particular interest in those who want a low impact, back safe, effective way to strengthen their core. She is well versed in working with hyper mobile individuals such as elhers danlos, yogis, dancers. Disc problem folks with osteoporosis, osteopenia, stenosis, sciatica, scoliosis and caudia equina. As well as athletes and sport enthusiasts who are prone to repetitive injuries like tennis players, golfers, paddle boarders, cyclists, skiers, hikers, and those pre- and post-op for hip replacements.
Allegra looks forward to having you in the studio soon!

Linda Mortarotti
Linda leaned into Pilates after a series of neck injuries and surgeries, she found that Pilates offered a great way to rehabilitate her body while being mindful of her limitations and healing process.
As she discovered and learned more about the Pilates Method and what Joseph Pilates had intended with his exercise program, she grew to love the mindfulness, balance and strength it created. She has since tried to share that beneficial program with her clients through Mat classes, Reformer classes and Wunda Chair classes.
She is a highly motivated instructor and is equipped with a positive attitude and a drive to share and help educate her clients in understanding the benefits that Pilates has to offer.
